Our high tensile stud link anchor chain is specially manufactured for shipbuilding and marine applications. Made from premium alloy steel, it features stable performance, high breaking load, excellent wear resistance and long service life.
This anchor chain is fully approved by major international classification societies including ABS, CCS, BV, LR and other IACS certificates. It is widely used for various types of vessels such as bulk carriers, container ships, oil tankers, general cargo ships, tugboats, work boats and other marine structures.
Strict quality control is carried out throughout the production process including material inspection, welding, heat treatment, painting and loading. We can supply standard sizes or customized diameters according to customer requirements.

Material Advantages
Adopt high-quality marine special alloy steel round bar, main grades include CM490 (U2 grade). The steel forging process optimizes the internal metal structure, eliminating internal stress and significantly improving the chain's tensile, impact and fatigue resistance.
Stud Link Type
With internal reinforcing studs, the link structure is stable and not easy to deform, suitable for heavy load anchoring of large ships and offshore engineering.

Studless Link Type (Open Link)

- Proof load and breaking load meet U2/U3 grade international standards
Manufacturing Process
- Raw Material Preparation and Pretreatment: Select suitable low-carbon steel wire rod with surface treatment to remove impurities and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Chain Forming and Welding: Specialized chain braiding equipment with flash butt welding or resistance welding, followed by shaping to ensure smooth connections.
- Heat Treatment and Strength Testing: Overall tempering treatment to improve tensile strength and toughness, with rigorous tensile testing and dimensional inspection.
- Hot-Dip Galvanizing for Corrosion Protection: Comprehensive pre-treatment and immersion in molten zinc to form uniform corrosion-resistant coating.
- Finished Product Inspection and Packaging: Final inspection including zinc layer adhesion, appearance, and dimensional verification before packaging and labeling.
